Intracranial metastasis is a known complication of Burkitt's lymphoma, however, superior sagittal sinus invasion by dural metastasis from Burkitt's lymphoma is rare. We report a young adult, known case of Burkitt's lymphoma, who presented with features of raised intracranial pressure secondary to dural sinus invasion from metastasis. Prompt radiotherapy to these lesions can bring about recanalization of the sinus with elevation of symptoms.

Ubiquitous Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) infects not only B cells but also T and NK cells, and is associated with various lymphoid malignancies. PET (positron emission tomography) using FDG (¹⁸F-fluorodeoxyglucose) has been widely used in the evaluation of various malignancies, but its clinical application to leukemia remains limited. We report a case of leukemia in which diffuse bone marrow uptake of FDG was observed, and bone marrow aspiration subsequently revealed acute lymphoblastic leukemia. It is not easy to differentiate between physiological and pathologic uptake when diffuse homogeneous uptake in bone marrow is observed.

INTRODUCTION: Fatigue is a common and distressing symptom in all phases of the cancer trajectory. Chronic fatigue (CF) is defined as fatigue with duration ⩾6months. Probability of event-free survival (pEFS) in pediatric T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma is about 80%, whereas survival in relapsed patients is very poor.
