OBJECTIVES: To investigate the risk factors and clinical characteristics of lymphoproliferative disorder (LPD) in Japanese patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA).
METHODS: We enrolled patients with RA aged ≥20 years who visited the participating hospitals between April 2011 and July 2011. We investigated the risk factors for LPD using a Cox proportional hazard model and described pathological features and vital prognosis of LPD in patients with RA.

Complex karyotype (CK) at chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) diagnosis is a negative biomarker of adverse outcome. Since the impact of CK and its subtypes, namely type-2 CK (CK with major structural abnormalities) or high-CK (CK with ≥5 chromosome abnormalities), on the risk of developing Richter syndrome (RS) is unknown, we carried out a multicenter real-life retrospective study to test its prognostic impact. Extranodal primary lymphoma of gallbladder is extremely rare. We report a 48-year-old woman initially diagnosed as gallbladder carcinoma with lymph nodes metastases by contrast-enhanced CT and MRI. Meanwhile the images of 18F-FDG PET/CT highly suggested gallbladder carcinoma due to the necrosis in one of the enlarged lymph nodes. However, it was proved to be diffuse large B-cell lymphoma by the histopathological diagnosis.

Primary breast lymphoma is a rare form of extranodal lymphoma. We report 18F-FDG and 68Ga-DOTA-FAPI-04 PET/CT findings of breast lymphoma in a 60-year-old woman. Both breast ultrasound and mammogram showed a mass in the right breast and suggested that the mass might be a malignant tumor. She was referred for an 18F-FDG PET/CT scan and subsequently recruited in our 68Ga-DOTA-FAPI-04 PET/CT trial. Both scans revealed the breast mass with intense tracer uptake. Biopsy and immunohistochemical examinations of the mass confirmed the diagnosis of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
