BACKGROUND: Kounis syndrome manifests as an acute coronary syndrome induced by an allergic or hypersensitivity reaction. Kounis syndrome consists of three types: Type I is characterized by coronary artery spasm in normal or near-normal arteries, Type II by the rupture of coronary artery plaques, and Type III by the formation of thrombus within the coronary artery stent. INTRODUCTION: Epigenetic modifications, particularly DNA methylation, play a key role in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC). This is the first study to apply genome-wide methylated DNA sequencing (MeD-seq) to identify differentially methylated regions (DMRs) in OPSCC. By comparing HPV-positive and HPV-negative tonsillar carcinomas, we evaluate MeD-seq's applicability to validate known and identify novel DMRs. These findings may support the identification of potential biomarkers for risk stratification and prognostic assessment in OPSCC.

Low-grade nasopharyngeal papillary adenocarcinoma (LGNPPA) is a rare entity. We report a 27-year-old man with a 1-year history of bloody postnasal drip. Lipoblastoma-like tumor (LLT) is a distinctive adipocytic neoplasm most commonly arising in the vulva of women. Lingual involvement is extremely rare. Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is the most common histological subtype of canine multicentric lymphoma, whereas epitheliotropism is classically associated with cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. The first observation of a new meson state decaying into B_{c}^{+} and a photon is presented using a dataset of pp collisions at a center-of-mass energy sqrt[s]=13 TeV collected by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 140 fb^{-1}. Traumatic ulcer is usually caused by trauma in the form of accidental lip or cheek biting habit, sharp carious tooth, attrited teeth with sharp cusps, or clasps of ill-fitting removable partial dentures. The ulcer clinically appears solitary with sloping edges and sometimes surrounded by a white border due to hyperkeratosis caused by friction, called frictional keratosis. An unusual case of traumatic ulcer in a 36-year-old male caused by a sharp supragingival calculus due to poor oral hygiene and its treatment was discussed in this report.
