OBJECTIVE: To assess the added value of acetic acid chromoendoscopy (AAC) for the detection of dysplasia and oesophageal adenocarcinoma during Barrett's oesophagus surveillance endoscopies.
DESIGN: Prospective, open label, stepped wedge cluster, randomised trial.
SETTING: 18 Dutch community hospitals.

INTRODUCTION: We conducted a nationwide, population-based cohort study to evaluate the risk of cancer in Korean patients with mixed connective tissue disease (MCTD) compared with the corresponding risk in the general population.
