BACKGROUND: Retroperitoneal paraganglioma (RPGL) is an uncommon extra-adrenal neuroendocrine tumor. When located adjacent to the pancreas, RPGL may mimic solid pseudopapillary neoplasm of the pancreas (SPN/SPTP) because both lesions may present as large cystic-solid masses with nonspecific symptoms and non-diagnostic conventional tumor markers. We present a rare case of retroperitoneal calciphylaxis in a 63-year-old woman with end-stage renal disease secondary to hypertension. The disease involved bilateral retroperitoneum and was incidentally found on CT imaging performed for renal transplant evaluation. Necrotizing fasciitis (NF) is a rapidly progressive soft tissue infection with significant morbidity. INTRODUCTION: Chondrosarcoma is the second most common primary malignant tumor accounting for 20-27% of these. These are malignant cartilaginous tumor found most commonly in the pelvis, followed by the proximal femur. Perivascular epitheloid cell tumor (PEComa) is a rare mesenchymal neoplasm.
