A 10-year retrospective analysis of invasive mold infections in hospitalized patients was performed to characterize the epidemiology and clinical features of invasive fungal sinusitis. Seventeen cases of invasive mold sinusitis were identified. Head injuries are a public health problem and any immediate complications related to primary or secondary injury must be detected. However, in view of the physiopathology involved and the functional results of this, it is essential to make a study of the literature on the detection of neurological sequelae secondary to head injury and compare it with the Mexican literature dealing with this subject.
