Pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma (PPGL), are rare neuroendocrine tumors arising from the adrenal medulla and extra-adrenal paraganglia, respectively. Up to about 60% are explained by germline or somatic mutations in one of the major known susceptibility genes e.g., inNF1,RET,VHL, SDHx,MAXandHRAS. A 30-year-old man with pheochromocytoma was hospitalized for hemoptysis without inducement. CT revealed a mass in the left lung, and biopsy pathology under the bronchoscope suggested that it was a pheochromocytoma metastasis. To further identify the location of the metastatic lesions, the patient was enrolled in a clinical trial and underwent 18 F-FDOPA and 18 F-MFBG PET/CT. Objective: The objective of this study was to compare the efficacy and safety of open adrenalectomy (OA) and laparoscopic adrenalectomy (LA) by summarizing the clinical features and treatment experience of giant adrenal tumors. The concentration of vanillymandelic acid (VMA) in urine is closely related with pheochromocytoma diagnosis. Thus, it is essential to develop more accurate and convenient fluorescence sensing strategies toward VMA. Until now, the design of double ratiometric detection methods for VMA was still in the unexplored stage. In this work, novel Ln3+-based metal-organic frameworks (QBA-Eu and QBA-Gd0.875Eu0.125) possessing dual emission peaks was fabricated successfully, which served as isomers of YNU-1 and exhibited more excellent water stability in fluorescence and structure than the ones of YNU-1.
