BACKGROUND: Management of spleen injuries has undergone evolution over the past few decades.
OBJECTIVE: To assess the challenges of managing splenic injuries in Nigeria.
METHODS: The medical records of all adult trauma patients with documented injury of the spleen over a two-year period (2006-2008) were reviewed. Data collected included patient demographics, mechanism of injury, injury-arrival time, Revised Trauma Score, abdominocentesis, abdominal ultrasound and CT findings. OBJECTIVE: To study the value of loss of CD10 expression in the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of follicular lymphoma (FL).
METHODS: One hundred and twenty-six cases of FL and 31 cases of reactive follicular hyperplasia (RFH) were studied with routine microscopy and immunohistochemistry.

The aim of this paper is to determine the possibilities of modern radiofrequency (RF) technology and the usefulness of abdominal and thoracic parenchymatous organs in surgery. Wandering spleen is characterized by ectopic localization of spleen owing to the lack or weakening of the major splenic ligaments. We report on the clinical spectrum of chronic liver disease (CLD) in children presenting to a tertiary level teaching hospital.
