The objectives of the study were to evaluate the prevalence of antinuclear antibodies (ANA) in patients with fibromyalgia (FM) and the probability of the development of clinically overt connective tissue diseases. OBJECTIVE: To specify and quantify possible defects in speech execution in patients with adult onset myotonic dystrophy.

The extraocular muscles (EOM) are anatomically and physiologically distinct from other striated muscles in mammals. This study evaluates whether abnormalities of visual function are present in children with congenital muscular dystrophy and whether these, if present, are associated with merosin status or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings.
