OBJECTIVE: To describe clinical characteristics and visual outcomes of eyes developing neurotrophic keratopathy (NK) following rhegmatogenous retinal detachment (RRD) repair.
METHODS: All eyes with NK at Wills Eye Hospital following RRD repair from June 1, 2011, to December 1, 2020 were included. Patients with prior ocular procedures (other than cataract surgery), herpetic keratitis, and diabetes mellitus were excluded.

A middle-childhood aged girl with recently diagnosed MDA5+ juvenile dermatomyositis complicated by interstitial lung disease presented with diffuse abdominal pain and scleral icterus following the initiation of cyclophosphamide therapy. A laboratory workup revealed elevated liver enzymes and hyperbilirubinaemia. She was admitted for worsening liver function, and all medications were held with concern for drug-induced liver injury. A workup for infectious and autoimmune causes of transaminitis was negative. A liver biopsy revealed diffuse apoptotic cells without evidence of portal obstruction.

PURPOSE: The purpose of this study is to report the results in a series of acrylic orbital implant placements without the use of wrapping material.
METHODS: We retrospectively reviewed the records of the patients who underwent enucleation with acrylic orbital implant insertion without scleral wrapping at the Department of Ophthalmology, Poznań University of Medical Sciences, Poland, between 2013 and 2020.

METHODS: This retrospective review was conducted for 62 eyes of 47 patients who had been fitted with scleral lenses for various corneal disorders.
