Dexamethasone intravitreal implant (Ozurdex®; Allergan, Inc., CA, USA) has been proved to be effective in a variety of clinical settings including cases of pseudophakic cystoid macular edema. PURPOSE: This study presents a novel technique for intraocular lens (IOL) fixation. The technique can be used on single-piece acrylic IOLs and can manage patients who are either with aphakia or with a dislocated IOL.
METHODS: One end of the Gore-Tex suture is tied into the optic-haptic junction of the IOL. Another end is fixated on the scleral wall. The single-sclerotomy and double-sclerotomy settings can be applied to different situations.
RESULTS: Twelve eyes received this procedure. After a follow-up period of up to 20 months, the IOLs were well centered.

PURPOSE: To identify areas of consensus among experts on the performance of endothelial keratoplasty by using a modified Delphi approach, to help create a framework for novice surgeons to adopt these procedures.
