INTRODUCTION: Acute Mesenteric Ischaemia (AMI) is a life-threatening surgical emergency, with a high mortality rate. Timely revascularisation is crucial to avoid bowel necrosis; however, once tissue becomes non-viable, surgical resection is necessary. Delineating viability is a critical challenge.
