The dysregulation of cross-talk between the sympathetic nervous system (SNS) and the immune system is closely linked to the development of autoimmune diseases. Pediatric generalized vitiligo resistant to conventional therapy remains a major therapeutic challenge. We report four children treated with oral JAK inhibitors achieving marked repigmentation without significant adverse effects. Improvement often began within months, particularly when combined with phototherapy. These findings suggest systemic JAK inhibition as a promising option for refractory pediatric vitiligo.

Proopiomelanocortin (POMC) deficiency is a rare monogenic obesity syndrome typically characterized by early-onset obesity, red hair, and hypopigmentation, while linear growth is usually preserved. We report an adolescent girl with genetically confirmed POMC deficiency who developed short stature with biochemically confirmed growth hormone deficiency (GHD).
