Botulinum toxin (BoNT) injections are an effective treatment for cervical dystonia. Approximately 20% of patients eventually stop BoNT treatment, mostly because of treatment failure. These recommendations review the different therapeutic interventions for optimising the treatment in secondary poor responder patients. Immunoresistance has become less common over the years, but the diagnosis has to be addressed with a frontalis test or an Extensor Digitorum Brevis test. AIM: The purpose of this study was to assess the prevalence of transient functional motor asymmetry in infants with congenital postural torticollis.

This is the first confirmed report of Encephalitozoon cuniculi (E. cuniculi) in farm meat rabbits located in Northern Mexico. INTRODUCTION: The centrum medianum- parafascicular complex of the human thalamus has a critical influence on cortical activity and significantly influences somatosensory function, arousal, and attention. In addition to its cortical connections, this region of the intralaminar thalamic nuclei is also connected to motor areas of the basal ganglia and the brain stem.
OBJECTIVE: The goal of this study was to identify movement-related neurons in the centrum medianum-parafascicular complex and analyze the changes in their activity during voluntary movements in patients with cervical dystonia.

Odontoid osteomyelitis is a rare disease which is frequently misdiagnosed as torticollis, leading to a delay in diagnosis. We present 2 illustrative cases and a systematic literature review summarizing previously reported cases. Odontoid osteomyelitis should be considered in children presenting with decreased head movements and with elevated erythrocyte sedimentation rate, particularly without improvement while receiving antiinflammatory treatment. Plain radiographs can be misleading, and magnetic resonance imaging should be performed for better visualization.
