PURPOSE: To apply a transurethral endoscopic technique for examining and managing suspicious distal seminal tracts disorders with a ureteroscope.
PATIENTS AND METHODS: Sixteen patients with distal seminal tracts disorders underwent transurethral endoscopy through the distal seminal tracts using a semirigid ureteroscope. Of the 16 patients, 6 had suspected hemospermia, 4 spermatocele, and 6 male infertility.

To form spermatocele from vaginal layers as a sperm reservoir and intra-uterine insemination (IUI) in infertile men with bilateral vas agenesis (BVA), we studied 19 patients with azoospermia due to BVA referred to our infertility clinic from March 1992 until May 2003. A 4-year-old alpaca stud was presented for examination of his reproductive tract. Ultrasonographic examination of the gonads revealed 2 cystic structures associated with the head of each epididymis. Spermatoceles are benign cystic dilations of the epididymis. Despite their relatively common occurrence, it is not clear why or when men want this lesion treated. We report the case of a bilateral and multilocular spermatocele and sperm granuloma in a dog that was vasectomized 5 years before. Clinical examination revealed scrotal dermatitis and benign prostatic hyperplasia. Orchiectomy was performed, and gross and histological examination showed testicular degeneration associated with epididymal sperm granuloma. OBJECTIVE: To study the role of fine needle aspiration (FNA) in male infertility and in nonneoplastic lesions of the testis and scrotum.
STUDY DESIGN: In a retrospective study over a 5-year period, 164 cases of FNA of testicular and scrotal nonneoplastic lesions were retrieved. Aspiration was performed with a 23-gauge needle on a 20-mL syringe.
