We evaluated 10 patients with hidradenitis suppurative or acne conglobata who developed arthritis. In contrast to patients with acne fulminans and arthritis, all our subjects were adults over 22 years of age; nine were black; and four were women. Nine patients had episodic inflammatory oligoarthritis affecting mainly larger joints of the upper and lower extremities. Eight patients had roentgenographic evidence of peripheral arthritis, four with erosions. The clinical and histopathological features of nineteen cases of Zoon's balanitis and a comparable lesion of the vulva have been reviewed. The condition is particularly distinguished by characteristic histological changes affecting the epidermis and the dermal vasculature. The presence of a plasma cell infiltrate is relatively non-specific. Recognition of these features should allow simple differentiation from premalignant, infective and other inflammatory penile lesions which may be more responsive to treatment.

5 cases of penile fracture are described. 2 patients were referred directly and received immediate surgical treatment. The corpus cavernosum was exposed and the tunica albuginea repaired with absorbable sutures. The other 3 patients were referred from 10 to 19 days after the initial injury. Among 237 cases of condyloma diagnosed in Uganda between 1964 and 1975 seven types of lesions were defined. Three of these were found within a wide age range in both young and elderly people, namely, the common (49.4%) and the flat (2.0%) condyloma acuminatum, and condyloma acuminatum of irregular outline (13.5%). The results in 21 patients with Peyronie's disease who were managed with a course of dermo-jet percutaneous injections of dexamethasone into the plaques are described herein. These patients had 6 to 10 injections at intervals of 1 month for 6 months. In a high percentage of the cases there occurred a disappearance or decrease in the size of the plaques, pain on erection and discomfort during sexual relations.
