BACKGROUND: Malignant phyllodes tumors of the breast are rare biphasic neoplasms. Only few cases related to pregnancy have been reported.
CASE REPORT: A 37-year-old woman presented with swelling and pain in her left breast as well as hyperemia on the breast skin, 4 weeks after labor. In her family history, her aunt and maternal cousin had had a breast cancer diagnosis. Clinical evaluation of the patient was consistent with a breast abscess. BACKGROUND: Pathological fractures can be caused by numerous local and systemic processes. The humerus is one of the commonest sites of pathological, tumour-associated fractures.
PATIENTS AND METHODS: In a retrospective study, 76 cases of pathological fractures of the humerus were analysed; 57 (75 %) were caused by a malignant disease, 19 fractures were associated with benign musculoskeletal disorders (25 %). The grade of the tumour, treatment strategy, intra- and postoperative complications, and survival rates in malignant tumours were documented.

Congenital generalized lipodystrophy (CGL) is an autosomal recessive disorder with two major subtypes. Variants in AGPAT2 result in CGL type 1 with milder manifestations, whereas BSCL2 variants cause CGL type 2 with more severe features. We report a long-term follow-up on the use of anastrozole in the treatment of peripheral precocious puberty (PP) in McCune-Albright syndrome (MAS). A girl, age 3 years and 9 months, was diagnosed with MAS due to PP, café-au-lait spots, and polyostotic fibrous dysplasia. Serum estradiol was elevated, and gonadotropins were suppressed. Central precocious puberty (CPP) is fairly common in girls. In most girls, the etiology for the CPP is unknown. Among the more rare causes of CPP in girls are central nervous system tumors and hamartomas.
