This is the third and last article reporting professional exchange tours between American nurses and nurses of other countries. In this article, the health care system of Kenya is discussed and comparisons made between this system and our own. Out of this comparison come several insights into our own way of doing things and possibilities for improving them. "Health Care in the Soviet Union" appeared in the April 1984 issue of The Nurse Practitioner. "Health Care in China" appeared in the May 1984 issue of the journal.

The relationships between cancer histotype and characters of the mammary glandular tree have been studied in 100 human breasts removed for clinical cancer by radical mastectomy. The group of invasive ductal carcinomas, including 78 cases, was subclassified in not otherwise specified (53 cases), with intraductal (19 cases), and with tubular component (6 cases). The S-phase fraction (SPF), defined as the number of cells per hundred that showed evidence of nuclear DNA synthesis detectable by autoradiography after in vitro incubation with tritiated thymidine, was measured in 170 primary, invasive carcinomas of the breast. Assay for estrogen receptor was performed on tissue from 129 carcinomas, and 34 were also assayed for progesterone receptor. 7054 malign neoplasms were observed at the I. Univ.-Frauenklinik of Vienna in the years 1950-1969. 142 cases were multiple primary neoplasms, i.e. 2.01%. In 51 cases the double neoplasms were situated in the genital region (local multiplicity), in 91 cases was there a separated multiplicity with the cancer of the breast dominating. A third of the multiple neoplasms was synchronous, the two other thirds were metachromatic with the peak in the first years after the diagnosis of the gynecologic neoplasm. 5 cases of triple neoplasms were specified.
