A 16 years old female who presented with abdominal swelling and secondary amenorrhoea was subsequently diagnosed as Sertoli Leydig cell tumour of ovary revealing intermediate differentiation with heterologous element. The case is reported in view of its rarity.

Our aim has been to evaluate the influence of menstrual disturbances of the secondary amenorrhoea type on the metabolism of bone tissue. We pursued this goal by determining selected biochemical markers of bone metabolism. Alkaline phosphatase and osteocalcin were used as indices of bone remodelling. Deoxypiridinoline was used as an index of bone tissue resorption.

OBJECTIVE: Pituitary adenomas are usually sporadic, although rare familial cases have been described. Here we report two first degree female cousins with giant pituitary adenoma and overweight. Both presented with secondary amenorrhoea, occasional headache and weight gain.
MATERIALS AND METHODS: In both patients clinical, morphological and genetic studies were performed. Both patients underwent surgery and post-operative medical therapy with somatostatin analogues and dopamine agonist, followed by a conventional radiotherapy course.

Vesico-uterine fistula is a very rare complication of lower caesarean section. There has only been two cases seen at the Department of Urology in the past 2 decades. Patients usually present in the early post operative period with the problem of continuous urinary incontinence. On the rare occasion, recurrent urinary tract infection, recurrent gross painless haematuria, or secondary infertility associated with secondary amenorrhoea would be the presenting complaint.

Study included 120 cases of genital tuberculosis proved by histopathology. Analysis of their menstrual history showed that the common menstrual disorder was oligohypomenorrhoea found in 54.0% cases, menorrhagia in 19.0% cases, and postmenopausal bleeding in 1.6% cases.
