The present work was conducted to develop a sensitive liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS-MS) method for quantitative determination of the compound in human plasma following clinical doses of 10-100 microg per day. Six electrical workers accidentally exposed to degradation products of sulphur hexafluoride (SF6) during electrical repair work were followed up for one year. Two cases of compound presentation following external version are presented. The frequent combination of the feet with the vertex following this procedure and its association with a higher fetal mortality, interference rate, and obstructed labour than the hand and vertex combination are highlighted.
