Introduction: An accessory scrotum is characterized by a characteristic skin appearance in addition to a normal scrotum in the anatomically normal position. Case report: We report an accessory inguinal left hemiscrotum in a 15-day-old male infant. There was a normal scrotum and penis. The testes were descended and normally located within the normal scrotum. Additional scrotal skin was located anterior and lateral to the normal scrotum. Conclusion: The accessory ectopic scrotum is readily observed by physical examination. Cosmetic excision is the treatment of choice.

Bilateral intrauterine testicular torsion is an extremely rare emergency and can be difficult to diagnose due to its diverse manifestation and potential differential diagnoses. In time surgical intervention is crucial for the retention of testicular function. We present a newborn with a bilateral testicular torsion, in which one testicle could be saved after detorsion. The contralateral side showed hemorrhagic infarction and was removed. Since organ preservation is rarely successful, the surgical therapy is discussed controversially.

RATIONALE: Fu's subcutaneous needling (FSN) is an innovative therapy of traditional acupuncture. FSN has been widely applied for the treatment of pain symptoms by relieving local muscle tension and promoting local blood circulation. Varicocele (VCL) is a disease that commonly occurs in male adolescents. METHODS:: The cases of eight patients who underwent MRI and surgery for acute scrotum between January 2010 and January 2017 were evaluated. BACKGROUND: Splenogonadal fusion is a rare and benign condition. Diagnosis is challenging for clinicians. Despite its indolence, diagnosis is often confirmed after orchidectomy. Surgery is mandatory, particularly to rule out the extremely rare association with malignancy.
