Secale strictum subsp. kuprijanovii is a perennial, hermaphrodite wild rye species and a progenitor of the modern cultivated rye, Secale cereale. With high adaptive capacity in stress conditions, it is valuable for enriching the germplasm resources of rye. Therefore, to elucidate its genetic and phylogenetic relationship is of great importance. In the past decade, progress has been made in sex determination mechanism in Vitis. However, genes responsible for sexual differentiation and its mechanism in V. amurensis remain unknown. Molybdenum has been found to be associated with metabolic disorders. However, the relationship between molybdenum and metabolic syndrome (MetS) is still unclear. A large case-control study was conducted in a Chinese population from the baseline of Ezhou-Shenzhen cohort. A total of 5356 subjects were included with 2678 MetS and 2678 controls matched by sex and age (±2 years).
