Continuing with comparative genomic exploration of worldwide butterfly fauna, we use all protein-coding genes as they are retrieved from the whole genome shotgun sequences for phylogeny construction. BACKGROUND: There were higher numbers of tertiary blast injuries from terrorist bombing in southern Thailand. There was no previous report about spinal trauma in tertiary blast injury.
MATERIAL AND METHOD: Between January 2007 and December 2007, there were 100 Thai military personnel injured in combat and 18 cases were classified to tertiary blast injury (type III). Six patients with spine and back injuries were retrospectively reviewed.

We report a case of bilateral neurogenic thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS). Electrophysiological examination suggested the presence of bilateral lower brachial plexus neuropathy. Radiography showed rudimentary bilateral cervical ribs. In the cases reported in the literature to date, the clinical findings are typically unilateral despite the common presence of bilateral bony abnormalities. Neurogenic TOS should be considered in young women, even if they present with bilateral symptoms, when they have occupations requiring strenuous activity of the upper limbs.

A total of 395 male infantry recruits were evaluated in a prospective study of possible risk factors for overexertional back pain and the efficacy of drug treatment regimens for this syndrome. Recruits were classified into subgroups of lumbar or thoracic, and paraspinal or spinous process pain. Cricket fast bowlers are the potent strike force in a multidiscipline team. They subject their spines to repetitive sagittal plane and rotatory movements over many years.
