A method of immunological actions on the influenza virus in the system of chick embryos passively immunized with isologous sera was elaborated. The work is devoted to the study of conditions required for the purpose of creation of standard and the most active preparations of erythrocytic H-diagnostic agents. The dependence of binding of the H-antigen by erythrocytes on the pH and the ionic power of the medium was investigated. It was demonstrated that in the process of erythrocyte sensitization with flagellin of great importance were electrostatic, hydrogen, and hydrophobic powers.

A possibility of using the passive hemagglutination test with meningococcus diagnostic agents of groups A and C for observing the changes in the infectious process was demonstrated. The authors described a method of determination of integrative association constant differing from intrinsic association constant by the value of the valency of macromolecular antigen. The method is based on the using of erythrocytes on whose surface one of the components is fixed, whereas the other is in free state. Application of equations was demonstratedon a number of examples with determination of integrative association constant. The authors present materials of the elaboration of a method of obtaining stable erythrocytic diagnostic agents from semipurified preparations of type-specific antigens of the hemolytic streptococcus of the 1st, 4th, 12th and 18th serotypes. Adequate specificity and high sensitivity of the passive hemagglutination test was shown in examination of the sera of experimental animals. A possibility was shown of improvement of serological diagnosis of salmonelloses with the aid of polyvalent (complex) and group salmonellosis stable formalinized erythrocytic diagnostic agents. The use of the mentioned preparations for titration of antibodies of different immunochemical nature in the sera of patients suffering from food toxicoinfections permitted to confirm the clinical diagnosis of salmonellosis in about 30% of cases.
