We present a novel single-stage technique, the bilateral pedicled mucosal sliding advancement flap (BPM-SAF), which utilizes a horizontal relaxing incision above the vestibular sulcus to advance adjacent mucosa laterally. INTRODUCTION: Freeman-Burian syndrome (FBS) is a congenital myopathic craniofacial condition that often includes features outside the craniofacial region. Among the craniofacial manifestations of FBS, the severely reduced oral aperture stands out as one of the most functionally limiting features of the condition. This marked constriction compromises nutritional intake, speech clarity, oral health maintenance, and airway access. Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans (DFSP) is a low-grade, malignant, spindle cell tumour with an infiltrative growth pattern and a high local recurrence rate. Cases of oral DFSP are rare.
