While use of GLP-1 receptor agonists has risen in the past three years, MBS volume has declined over 25% during the same period. Reported barriers to MBS include long wait times, societal sigma, fear of surgery, and insurance restrictions. OBJECTIVES: Controlled therapeutic hypothermia (CTH) is a standard of care in the management of neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy HIE in newborns after 36 weeks of gestational age (WGA) in France. Most poison centers do not share call details routinely with governmental regulatory agencies. Worker health and safety could be enhanced if regulators such as the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) had the ability to investigate these events and prevent similar incidents.
