Verrucous malignant melanoma (MM) is a rare variant of melanoma that often presents diagnostic challenges. This case highlights the unique presentation of verrucous MM underlying a cutaneous horn. It is vital for dermatologists to be aware of this potentially benign-appearing variant to be able to diagnose and treat MM early on.

Cutaneous horns are conical, circumscribed protuberances formed by densely layered keratin. These lesions originate from basal keratinocytes and may manifest as benign, premalignant, or malignant cutaneous pathology in chronically sun-damaged areas. Complete surgical excision with histologic examination is needed for potential malignancy. In this report, we describe two elderly women presenting with solitary facial cutaneous horns, which were respectively diagnosed as actinic keratosis and squamous cell carcinoma.

Rudimentary horn is a developmental anomaly of the uterus. Pregnancy in a non-communicating rudimentary horn is very difficult to diagnose before it ruptures. We report a 43 year old man who developed progressive weakness of all extremities with fasciculation over four months. Neurological examination was consistent with an anterior horn syndrome. CSF examination showed elevated opening pressure and a lymphocytic pleocytosis. The diagnosis of sarcoidosis was confirmed by muscle and lacrimal gland biopsies. INTRODUCTION: Bull horn injuries are severe lesions with a high risk of bacterial contamination, and are common in countries where people are fond of bullfighting and related spectacles.
CASE REPORT: A 19-year-old man was referred with a penetrating wound in the superior left eyelid produced by a bull horn and resulting in a fracture of the orbital roof and a fat hernia. Prophylactic antibiotics and tetanus toxoid were administered and surgical reconstruction of the wound performed. Orbital cellulitis did develop, but this responded to systemic antibiotic therapy within a few days.

OBJECTIVES: To report one case of malignant recurrence of a cutaneous horn of the glans penis.
METHODS: We report the case of a 66-year-old male patient presenting with penile discomfort over several months. Physical examination showed a corneal lesion in the glans-penis, the biopsy of which was reported as hyperkeratosis on top of pseudoepiteliomatous hyperplasia. Partial penectomy of the glans penis was performed after recurrence three months later.

Rudimentary horn pregnancies are rare, and are associated with a high rate of maternal morbidity and mortality. The standard treatment is laparotomy, as patients usually experience massive abdominal hemorrhage or pregnancies too large to attempt laparoscopic removal. In our patient, early sonographic discovery facilitated laparoscopic management.

A 4.5-year-old female domestic longhair cat with a history of intermittent abdominal distention following estrus and infertility was admitted for routine vaccinations. Radiographs revealed 2 large blunt-ended tubular structures overlapping each other in the abdomen. Segmental aplasia of the right uterine horn was diagnosed following exploratory laparotomy and ovariohysterectomy.
