The present study evaluated some of the mechanisms through which alpha-amyrin, a pentacyclic triterpene isolated from Protium Kleinii and other plants, exerts its effects against 12-O-tetradecanoylphorbol-acetate (TPA)-induced skin inflammation in mice.
