The relationship between parental constitutional chromosome abnormalities and the development of hydatidiform mole was evaluated in series f … er, t(13;14). No significant increase in the frequency of translocations in the parents of complete moles was found in any of the series considered separately or together. Data from the combined series show no evidence of constitutional parental chromosome aberrations as an aetiological factor in the development of molar pregnancies.

Thirty-two cases of hydatidiform mole without endometrial invasion of chorial tissue and 17 of invasive mole were studied to ascertain whether these two diseases can be differentiated by various immune parameters. All of hydatidiform 11 of invasive mole were sampled at a state of "mole in utero" (pre-evacuation), but 6 of invasive mole were at a post-evacuation state, respectively. BACKGROUND: The prevalence of Toxoplasma gondii in common moles, Talpa europaea, was investigated in order to determine whether moles can serve as an indicator species for T. gondii infections in livestock.
