INTRODUCTION: Transcranial motor-evoked potentials (TceMEPs) is conventionally performed without neuromuscular blockade (NMB) because of its potential interference with neuromuscular junction and signal interpretation. The use of sugammadex for reversal of rocuronium-induced neuromuscular blockade after caesarean section is nowadays common practice, but concerns exist about its use in pregnant women undergoing non-obstetric surgery. It states that indications for decurarization have been changed due to the extremely high rate of residual curarization even after the use of average-acting myorelaxants.
