BACKGROUND: Large pedunculated colorectal polyps are not frequent among colonic polyps. We present a clinical case of a large pedunculated colorectal polyp with signet ring cell cancer infiltrating the submucosa and lymph node invasion in a patient who ultimately underwent additional surgery.
