In this study, aerobic granular sludge (AGS) cultivated in a sequencing batch reactor (SBR) was employed to investigate its ability on the decontamination of tetracycline (TC) from swine wastewater (SWW). The removal mechanism of TC by AGS was studied. Results showed that the AGS process could effectively remove chemical oxygen demand (COD), ammonium nitrogen (NH+ 4-N), total phosphorus (TP), and TC during operation.
