ETHNOPHARMACOLOGICAL RELEVANCE: Seabuckthorn Wuwei Pulvis (SWP) is a traditional Mongolian medicine used in China. It is composed of Hippophae rhamnoides (berries, 30 g), Aucklandiae costus Falc. (dry root, 25 g), Vitis vinifera F. Cordifolia (berries, 20 g), Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch. (dry root, 15 g), and Gardenia jasminoides J. Ellis (desiccative ripe fruit, 10 g). It is clinically applied in the treatment of chronic cough, shortness of breath and phlegm, and chest distress. PURPOSE: Comprehensive and distortion-free mapping of the entire corneal sub-basal nerve plexus (SBNP) remains a major technical challenge, as standard methods are compromised by limited fields of view (e.g., in vivo confocal microscopy) or architectural flattening (e.g., ex vivo flat-mounts). PURPOSE: To determine the refractive change and stability of the transplanted cornea after Descemet membrane endothelial keratoplasty (DMEK) through a 3.0 mm clear corneal incision.
SETTING: Tertiary referral center.
DESIGN: Cohort study.
METHODS: Subjective and objective refractive data from pseudophakic eyes were obtained before and 3 and 6 months after DMEK.
