PURPOSE: To present the 1-year results of a surgical technique for the sutureless intrascleral fixation of a 3-piece intraocular lens using a 30-gauge needle.
METHODS: A retrospective chart review of a consecutive series of 9 eyes of 8 patients who underwent sutureless intrascleral fixation of posterior chamber intraocular lens using a 30-gauge needle was performed. PURPOSE: To evaluate the clinical results of toric trifocal diffractive intraocular lens in eyes with cataract and mild keratoconus.
METHODS: Five keratoconus patients (10 eyes) that had bilateral AT LISA 939 implantation were selected and had followed in 3-time horizons of 1, 3, and 6 months. Patients were 46 to 65 years old age, corneal astigmatism of (2.00 D at 6.75 D) and cataract that all of them needed cataract surgery. The objective of the present study was to compare single segment and double segment INTACS rings in the treatment of post-LASIK ectasia. In this interventional study, 26 eyes with post-LASIK ectasia were assessed. Ectasia was defined as progressive myopia regardless of astigmatism, along with topographic evidence of inferior steepening of the cornea after LASIK. We excluded those with a history of intraocular surgery, certain eye conditions, and immune disorders, as well as monocular, pregnant and lactating patients. A total of 11 eyes had double ring and 15 eyes had single ring implantation.
