INTRODUCTION: Constriction grooves are typical abnormalities of constriction band syndrome (CBS). AIM: The aim of this study was to review prenatally diagnosed tumors of the head and neck in the fetus and to report antenatal and postnatal outcomes.
METHODS: PubMed/Medline, EMBASE/SCOPUS, Cochrane database and Google Scholar were reviewed over the last 20 years. No language or article type restriction was used.

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the long-term outcomes and recurrence patterns of surgical treatment for perineal lymphatic malformations (LMs), which are rare but functionally and cosmetically disabling.
METHODS: We conducted a retrospective review of 19 patients with perineal LMs who underwent surgical excision between 2000 and 2024. All patients were followed for at least 1 year. Clinical presentation, surgical details, complications, and recurrences were analyzed. Recurrence-free survival was estimated using the Kaplan-Meier method, and risk factors were explored using univariate analysis.

We report the case of a female who had suffered from progressive lymphatic malformation in the orbito-temporal region since childhood. Many surgical interventions were performed, including radical excision and shunt drainage. Despite aggressive surgical treatment, recurrence was observed after every intervention. Eventually, the condition regressed after the patient began taking a contraceptive. Moreover, it virtually disappeared after pregnancy.

OBJECTIVES: Lymphatic malformations (LM) are clinically characterized by episodes of inflammatory episodes. Often, an upper respiratory illness or trauma will lead to painful swelling in the distribution of the LM. Zinc is an element involved in numerous aspects of cellular metabolism and is a common dietary supplement and cold remedy. We surmise that zinc may act as a therapeutic anti-inflammatory agent for lymphatic malformations and their cellular components.
