Cerebral vasospasm is a frequent and severe complication of SAH. Angiographic vasospasm may be seen in 70% of patients and delayed cerebral ischemic deficits are observed in 30% of patients. Since vasodilator drugs cannot reverse cerebral vasospasm, treatment is directed to prevent vasospasm and to prevent or reverse ischemic deficits. BACKGROUND: Cerebral vasospasm is a rare but devastating complication following pituitary apoplexy. Cerebral vasospasm is often associated with subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), and early detection is crucial for proper management.
OBSERVATIONS: The authors present a case of cerebral vasospasm after endoscopic endonasal transsphenoid surgery (EETS) in a patient with pituitary apoplexy secondary to pituitary adenoma. They also present a literature review of all similar cases published to date. The patient is a 62-year-old male who presented with headache, nausea, vomiting, weakness, and fatigue.

We present the case of limb ischemia secondary to accidental intra-arterial buprenorphine/naloxone film injection successfully treated with sublingual nitroglycerin. A 39-year-old man with history of intravenous drug use presented sudden severe left hand pain since three days prior to evaluation. The authors reviewed the liver histopathology and the clinical features of eight patients with liver metastases from colorectal cancer who were treated by hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy (HAIC) via an implantable pump (Infusaid).
