Fifty patients with bone primary tumors (multiple myeloma, osteogenic sarcoma, Ewing's sarcoma, giant cell tumor, and others) were studied gammagraphically after injecting 555 MBq of 99mTc-MDP. Eighty per cent of the cases were found in long bones, specially femur and tibia. These two bones were the preferent localization of osteosarcomas. Ewing's neoplasms were mostly diaphysial and osteoclastomas epiphysial.

Chronic rhinitis/sinusitis in the cat can be an annoying, persistent problem. Intermittent sneezing with mucopurulent discharge is the most common clinical sign. Response to medical management is variable, and some cats will spontaneously resolve. In the cat with unresponsive chronic rhinitis/sinusitis, surgical intervention may be attempted in order to relieve obstruction, afford better drainage, or obliterate the frontal sinuses with fat grafts. BACKGROUND: The aim of this retrospective analysis is to understand the natural history of myxofibrosarcoma (MFS), in particular whether the prognosis can be influenced by histologic grade.
METHODS: We reviewed 229 adult patients with primary MFS of the limbs. We analyzed disease-specific survival (overall survival [OS]) and local recurrence (LR).

A case of myofibrosarcoma (IMT) of the brain and lung as well as the spinal cord is described. A 29-year-old male patient presented with fever (40 degrees C), malaise, vomitus, meningism and leukocytosis. Computer tomography identified a bleeding in the left frontal lobe. Fourteen patients who had a malignant tumor of the pelvic bone, adjacent to the acetabulum, were managed with a wide en bloc resection that included most of the hemipelvis as well as the hip.
