Amino functionalized zirconium-based metal-organic framework (NH2-UiO-66) and zinc-based zeolitic imidazolate framework (ZIF-8) were integrated to develop a core-shell architectured hybrid material (NH2-UiO-66@ZIF-8, NU66@Z8). In the present study, the protective effects of chrysin (CHR) against testicular damage caused by lead acetate (PbAc) were examined. A 22-month-old boy diagnosed with neuroblastoma was evaluated by bone scintigraphy and I-metaiodobenzylguanidine scintigraphy, and no metastases to skeletal system was detected. However, plain radiograph and MRI revealed suspected metastatic lesions. The patient was therefore evaluated by Ga-DOTA-TATE PET/CT, and Ga-DOTA-TATE uptake was observed in multiple bone and bone marrow areas, which were consistent with metastases. Biopsy was taken from the right iliac bone, and the pathological examination of the biopsy specimen was coherent with neuroblastoma invasion.

Ga-DOTATATE PET/CT was performed in a 60-year-old man to detect culprit tumor responsible for tumor-induced osteomalacia (TIO). The images revealed multiple foci of abnormal activity in soft tissue lesion, which were not typical of tumor causing TIO in Ga-DOTATATE PET/CT.
