OBJECTIVE: To evaluate patterns of recurrence for ovarian, fallopian tube, and primary peritoneal cancer patients undergoing extended treatment with bevacizumab (BEV).
METHODS: A retrospective review of patients with primary ovarian, fallopian tube, or peritoneal cancer treated with BEV alone or in combination with other chemotherapy from 2001 to 2011 was performed. Qualified patients were identified by chemotherapy records. Electronic medical records, labs, and imaging reports were reviewed and abstracted.

Ectopic pregnancy remains an important cause of morbidity and mortality in women of childbearing age. We report a case of a unilateral twin ectopic pregnancy in a fallopian tube remnant after previous ipsilateral salpingectomy. The pregnancy was conceived spontaneously and included two live gestations. Although the presentation of this ectopic pregnancy was unique, the patient's risk factors were not. As an example of the type of patient who would benefit from ultrasound screening for ectopic pregnancy, our patient renews the debate around this controversial issue.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the expression of COX-2 and Bcl-2 in primary fallopian tube carcinoma (PFTC), as well as their correlations with clinicopathologic features. A 43-year-old perimenopausal lady presented with bleeding per vagina and lower abdominal pain. On evaluation, she had cervical polyp, which expelled spontaneously during the per speculum examination. Histopathology revealed malignant mixed Mullerian tumor. Extended hysterectomy with salphingo oophorectomy was carried out, which showed bilateral fallopian tube carcinoma and leiomyoma uterus. The patient was treated with carboplatin regime and found to be disease-free for 1 year. This case presented because of a rare combination of the lesions.

We report an unusual metastasis of an inconspicuous fallopian-tube carcinoma to the rectovaginal septum in a 67-year-old woman. The 4-cm tumor of serous adenocarcinoma was identified in the rectovaginal space with intact vaginal and rectal mucosa. The patient underwent an abdominoperineal resection with adjacent rectum and the bilateral uterine annexes, which were macroscopically intact. BACKGROUND: Primary fallopian tube carcinoma (PFTC) is a rare gynecologic malignancy with very few data existing on the activity of the combination of paclitaxel with a platinum analogue as adjuvant chemotherapy.
