Lower-risk myelodysplastic syndromes are defined using prognostic scoring systems that incorporate data on bone marrow blast percentage, degree and numbers of cytopenias, and cytogenetic abnormalities. Enterovirus 71 (EV71) plays an important role in hand-foot-and-mouth disease. In this study, a series of diarylhydrazide analogues was synthesized, and the systematic exploration of SAR led to potent enterovirus inhibitors, of which compound 15 exhibits significant improvements in inhibition potency with an EC50 value of 0.02 μM against EV71. BACKGROUND: The serum and glucocorticoid inducible kinase SGK1, which was originally cloned from mammary tumor cells, is highly expressed in some but not all tumors. Salen-manganese complexes, such as EUK-8 and EUK-134 are known as catalase mimetics with superoxide dismutase (SOD) and peroxidase mimetic activity. The RACE study (NCT02009747) compared horse antithymocyte globulin (hATG) plus cyclosporine A (CsA) ± eltrombopag as initial immunosuppressive treatment (IST) for severe aplastic anemia.
