Herein, we report the synthesis of carbene-stabilized 1,3-diaza-2,4-diphosphabutenes CAACMePNPNCAACMe 4CAAC (CAACMe = 1-[2,6-bis(isopropyl)phenyl]-3,3,5,5-tetramethyl-2-pyrrolidinylidene) and IPrPNPNIPr 4NHC (IPr = 1,3-Bis(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)-imidazol-2-ylidene). The bonding in both systems is defined by a delocalized polar covalent π-system, with 4NHC exhibiting increased conjugation relative to 4CAAC. Physicochemical characteristics of seeds of some pinus species (Pinus halepensis Mill., Pinus pinea L., Pinus pinaster and Pinus canariensis) grown in North Algeria were determined. The results showed that the seeds consist of 19.8-36.7% oil, 14.25-26.62% protein, 7.8-8.6% moisture. Phosphorus, potassium and magnesium were the predominant elements present in seeds. Aldosterone secretion from the adrenal glomerulosa (AG) cells is inhibited by atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP). Inasmuch as alterations in K+ conductance can modulate aldosterone secretion, the effect of ANP on intracellular K+ homeostasis was investigated. The present work, using chromaffin cells of bovine adrenal medullae (BCCs), aims to describe what type of ionic current alterations induced by lead (Pb2+) underlies its effects reported on synaptic transmission.
