Intravascular large B-cell lymphoma is a rare and aggressive lymphoma with a dismal prognosis. Synchronous intravascular large B-cell lymphoma within meningioma has not previously been documented. We report a case of a 73-year-old woman of Asian descent who presented with fever of unknown origin with generalized weakness. CT scan and MRI of the head revealed a dural-based mass lesion consistent with meningioma in the left frontal cerebral convexity. A 40-year-old man presented with a rare case of synchronous multifocal osteosarcoma involving the skull associated with intracerebral hemorrhage, manifesting as sudden headache and left homonymous hemianopia. Computed tomography revealed a skull tumor in the right occipital bone and intracerebral hemorrhage in the right occipital lobe. Gross total resection of the skull tumor with hematoma was performed. The histological diagnosis was osteosarcoma. The tumor cells had invaded into the surrounding brain parenchyma, resulting in intracerebral hemorrhage.

Ganglioneuromatosis of the gastrointestinal tract is a rare condition that has an established association with the multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome, type IIb. Its occurrence in neurofibromatosis, in which the large intestine is usually affected, is much rarer. We report a case of diffuse ganglioneuromatosis of the small bowel, found incidentally during surgery for a malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumor arising in the retroperitoneum in a 32-year-old man with neurofibromatosis type 1, and review previously reported cases.

Female adnexal tumor of wolffian origin (FATPWO) is a lesion that predominantly occurs in the broad ligament. Its occurrence in the right paravaginal area is rare; only one other case has been reported to occur at this site. Six hundred forty-five cases of transitional cell carcinoma (TCC) of the bladder, ureter, and/or kidney were reviewed retrospectively to determine the frequency of synchronous and metachronous lesions elsewhere in the urinary tract. Among 597 patients with TCC of the bladder, 23 (3.9%) developed an upper-tract lesion, after an average delay of 61 months. The first case of ataxia-telangiectasia (AT) with dysgerminoma of the right ovary, papillary carcinoma of the thyroid, and adenocarcinoma of the pancreas is reported. There is the characteristic trend of the occurrence of the malignant neoplasms in AT. Lymphoreticular neoplasms and leukemia are most frequently seen in the younger patients with AT. On the other hand, epithelial malignant neoplasms are frequently seen in the longer survivors with AT. Literature also shows that nucleomegaly is due to precocious or abnormal aging.

There are currently three recognized prezygotic chromosome defects that are associated with specific cancers.
