We describe a case of postoperative galactorrhea following the use of a pedicled pectoralis major myocutaneous flap for reconstruction of a pharyngolaryngeal defect in a woman with squamous cell carcinoma. Superior sternal cleft is a rare congenital malformation that may represent a challenge for plastic surgeons. We describe a 1-day-old neonate. She was noted to have superior sternal cleft associated with aplasia cutis ahead the sternum. Three days after birth, she successfully underwent primary repair using a Medpor and a rectus abdominis musculocutaneous flap. This is a novel concept of successfully constructing the sternal cleft associated with aplasia cutis.

In 500 consecutive modified radical mastectomies (MRM) performed for clinically early (T1 N0) breast carcinomas between 1975 and 1982, the interpectoral lymph nodes (IPN) were separately sampled at the end of the operative procedure. OBJECTIVES: Shoulder pain prevalence is high in those with spinal cord injury (SCI) and is associated with decreased function, participation restrictions and decreased quality of life. Limited evidence exists regarding physical impairments of newly acquired SCI. The current study compared musculoskeletal factors at rehabilitation initiation in individuals with newly acquired SCI to uninjured individuals. We hypothesized no impairment differences of shoulder pain, strength, mobility, muscle extensibility, or rotator cuff integrity would exist between groups.

Tibial dyschondroplasia (TD) is the common leg disease in commercial broilers. However, the effects of TD on meat quality and the protective of Morinda officinalis polysaccharide (MOP) are largely unknown.
