UNLABELLED: Metastatic deposits in the mandible are discussed and a case of leiomyosarcoma arising from a testicular primary is presented. The patient presented with symptoms typical of those that would present to a general dental practitioner. The various stages involved in the diagnosis and management of the condition are discussed.

BACKGROUND: This article discusses the application of computer-aided design and rapid prototyping techniques in prosthetic chin augmentation for mild microgenia.
METHODS: Nine cases of mild microgenia underwent an electrobeam computer tomography scan. Then we performed three-dimensional reconstruction and operative design using computer software. Numb chin syndrome (NCS) is a rare yet potentially ominous sensory neuropathy characterised by unilateral hypoesthesia or paraesthesia over the lower lip, chin and occasionally gingival mucosa.
