Gastrointestinal duplications are extremely rare congenital abnormalities having definite difficulties to be diagnosed preoperatively. Most of them are presented at the oesophagus and ileum and only involve colon from 4% to 18%. We illustrate a case report of an 18-year-old female patient with transverse colon duplication. Rehabilitation needs and problems in 227 gastric cancer patients. In an investigation on needs of rehabilitation in gastric cancer we evaluated postgastrectomy problems in 227 gastrectomized patients. The average weight loss was 5% prior to operation and there was a further weight loss of 16% in the follow-up 18 months after the operation due to the postgastrectomy syndrome. AIM OF THE STUDY: The objective of this meta-analysis is to evaluate the efficacy of Transversus Abdominis Plane Block (TAPB) in pain control and recovery after open hepatic surgery.
METHODS: We searched for the articles in PubMed, Google Scholar, and the Cochrane Library published before March 2022. We included randomized controlled trials (RCTs) comparing TAPB with a placebo in adult patients after open liver surgery. Meta-analysis was conducted in RevMan 5.4. Methodological quality was assessed via the Jadad/Oxford scale and Cochrane Risk of Bias tool.

OBJECTIVE: An investigation of incidence and degree of anal incontinence after vaginal delivery among primiparas and characterizing of the risk factors.
DESIGN: Prospective observational study.
SETTING: Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics, Charles University and Faculty Hospital Pilsen.
METHODS: 346 primiparas after consecutive vaginal delivery between May 2000 and February 2001 were included. All delivered in lithotomy position. Questionnaires were sent few days after delivery and then two and 6-9 months later. Analysis of the returned questionnaires. 28 obstetric parameters assessed.

Small intestine bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) is a condition characterised by nutrient malabsorption and excessive bacteria in the small intestine. It typically presents with diarrhea, flatulence and a syndrome of malabsorption (steatorrhea, macrocytic anemia). However, it may be asymptomatic in the eldery.
