INTRODUCTION: Eosinophilic gastritis (EoG) is commonly missed because of limited biopsy collection and failure to request tissue eosinophil counts on gastric biopsies. Continued efforts to identify less invasive biomarkers to improve diagnosis and disease monitoring have resulted in little success.
