Angiogenesis is an essential process in the progression of malignant tumors. Tumors of the ureter and renal pelvis account for 5% of all urinary tract neoplasms. Little is known about angiogenesis in upper urinary tract urothelial tumors. Tumor-induced osteomalacia (TIO) is a rare paraneoplastic syndrome that results in renal phosphate wasting with hypophosphatemia. Introduction: Ameloblastic fibro-odontoma (AFO) is a benign odontogentic tumor without an aggressive behavior, unlike the similar ameloblastic fibroma. Case Presentation: A 9-year-old boy, with tooth eruption failure, underwent enucleation and curettage of a well-defined variable radiolucent and radio-opaque right mandible lesion. There was odontogenic epithelium with peripheral palisading in a loose myxoid stroma as well as a disorganized component of dentin, enamel, and cementum, features of an AFO. Conclusion: AFO is an odontogenic mixed tumor of epithelium and mesenchyme.

Polymyositis and Dermatomyositis are often connected with autoimmune diseases and are closely linked with specific autoantibodies. Clinical manifestations are mild in correlation with clinical picture ofmyositis related to malignancy. Pulmonary complications are main cause of mortality in overlap syndromes with autoimmune diseases. Infection, cardiovascular complications and underlying malignancy provide greater mortality risk.

Elderly patients with persistent unexplained fever require a diagnostic evaluation that focuses on specific infections (eg, occult abdominal abscess, bacterial endocarditis, miliary tuberculosis), rheumatic disorders (eg, temporal arteritis, polyarteritis nodosa), and neoplasms (eg, lymphoma, nephroma). Assessment is directed by the subtle clues elicited from meticulous, repeated history taking and physical examination. Therapeutic trials or exploratory laparotomy may be appropriate but should not be attempted out of a sense of frustration.
