The sternum is an uncommon site for neoplastic involvement and metastases are far commoner than primary neoplasms. Of the primary tumours, malignant lesions are more frequent than the benign lesions. Early diagnosis and treatment is prudent in such neoplasms not only to halt disease progression but also to prevent circulatory compromise resulting from the mass effect on the mediastinum. Sound knowledge of neoplasms affecting the sternum and their imaging appearance is essential to arrive at an early diagnosis and also to obviate biopsy in cases with classical imaging findings. UNLABELLED: Differentiating a primary retroperitoneal seminoma from a metastatic testicular tumor with an occult testicular primary or a burned out testicular cancer remains difficult. We present a case of a burned out tumor. The patient had a retroperitoneal seminoma with ultrasonically and pathologically demonstrated abnormalities in both testes, but without evidence of tumor. The patient received chemotherapy and underwent surgery of the residual retroperitoneal mass and bilateral orchiectomy. All surgical specimens were negative for testis cancer.

Unilateral parotid gland involvement with synchronous benign and malignant tumors is extremely rare. This paper reported 1 case of primary unilateral pleomorphic adenoma and lymphoepithelial carcinoma of parotid gland and reviewed the literatures. Malignant melanoma is one of the most aggressive skin neoplasms with histopathological-based therapeutic approach. Unfortunately, in some cases, even the elementary issue of dealing with a primary or metastatic lesion may be sometimes incredible difficult to settle. We studied 11 cases of malignant melanomas that required careful histopathological and immunohistochemical analysis to differentiate between primary and secondary tumor. We evaluated epidermotropism of primary MM including synchronous tumors, local recurrences and metastases.

OBJECTIVES: To report one case of associated renal cancer and ipsilateral pheochromocytoma treated by laparoscopic surgery
METHODS: We describe the case of a 67-year-old female presenting with left lumbar pain and recurrent urinary tract infections. Ultrasound and abdominal CT scan were performed revealing renal carcinoma and ipsilateral adrenal mass, which was confirmed by MRI. With the diagnosis of left renal carcinoma and possible adrenal metastasis, laparoscopic left nephrectomy and adrenalectomy were performed.
