BACKGROUND: Baicalein (BA) is a flavonoid with significant pharmacological and antioxidant activities; however, its poor aqueous solubility and high crystallinity limit its dissolution and oral bioavailability. Liquisolid compact technology represents a promising approach for improving the dissolution behavior of poorly soluble drugs.
