OBJECTIVES: Assess sexual function, menopausal symptoms, and depression in women with BRCA mutations associated with oophorectomy and menopause status.
METHODS: Women age 40 and older with BRCA mutations completed a questionnaire with validated measures of sexual activity, menopausal symptoms, depression, and cancer worry. These measures were compared between those with intact ovaries and those who had undergone pre- or post-menopausal risk-reducing salpingo-oophorectomy (RRSO).

UNLABELLED: Intestinal differentiation in the endometrium is rare with only case reports in the international literature. We describe a case of simultaneous endocervical and intestinal-type mucinous differentiation with goblet cells arising in a FIGO grade 1 endometrioid adenocarcinoma. The patient had no involvement of the myometrium, cervix, or extra-uterine sites. There were no intestinal metaplastic changes of the endocervical canal. The etiology of this change is unknown, although recent reports suggest an association with hyperestrogenism.

BACKGROUND: This report describes a partial nephrectomy with a minimally invasive approach, carried out laparoscopically as a treatment for a hydrocalicosis caused by a congenital infundibular stenosis.
CLINICAL CASE: The patient presented a clinical background of one year of evolution, manifested as recurrent urinary tract infections caused by urine accumulation in the adjacent collecting tubules which were compressed by the superior hydrocalicosis. This procedure was made using a transperitoneal access, making a superior pole resection of the right kidney and respecting the adrenal gland.

Despite the excellent prognosis, unilateral renal agenesis is associated with an increased risk of other structural abnormalities, including genital malformations. Ovarian carcinomas are a heterogeneous group of lesions, among which serous histologic subtype is the most frequent.
